Storyline
Plot Summary |
Amanda carries her personal frustrations into the women's restroom of her Los Angeles office building. Knowing that she is an inch away from falling off the deep end, she asks her best friend (and co-worker) Jill to meet her at their private, unconventional sanctuary. Once Jill arrives, Amanda narrates her hilariously traumatic blind date with a sous-chef named Kelly. Convinced that Kelly isn't just another girl, Amanda starts to panic, convinced that Kelly would never go on another date with a "dork" like her. Jill remains at a constant nonchalant state, knowing that her neurotic friend tends to over-analyze during high-stress situations. But despite her own opinions about Amanda, Jill somewhat attempts to comfort her friend saying that it was just "nerves." Then after several amusing moments between the pair, Amanda's mood takes a positive turn and she is finally ready to ask Kelly out on another date via text. Everything seems to be looking up for Amanda-until she presses send. Written by Anonymous |
