Interesting but not that special
19 June 2017 | by qui_jSee all my reviews

This is your typical French drama that exposes the sleaze behind a government election. It has all the usual characteristics of a French TV i.e. Flowery dialog, obtuse, philosophical conversations, a lot of shouting and histrionic behavior which seems to pass for good acting in so many of the French series, and last of all, a lot of sex! It is very much like "House of Cards" and "Borgen" but with a very French twist. This theme is overworked but then corruption and sleaze in government elections is never confined to any one country. The series does hold your attention as the viewer will want to stay to the end to see how it turns out. Overall, it is entertaining and interesting to watch but in the long run....it's not that special!
