- No Scars is a short film portraying a young woman having a hard time accepting the death of her boyfriend, who died in a car accident and was covered with horrible scars when she last saw his body. She goes to the cemetery often, and cries on her late boyfriend's grave. At home, her mother tries to reach out to her and reminds her that he believed that the other world is a better place, but she is inconsolable. That night, the girl sees him in a dream; he has no scars from the accident and assures her that he is indeed in a better place. - No Scars is a short film about a young girl who recently lost her boyfriend to a drunk driver. Ruth (Jenny Jones) spends a lot of time at the cemetery by his grave. One particular night, when she goes home despondent due to her anger and depression after having cried at the cemetery, her mother Naomi (Luciana Lagana) reaches out to her reminding her of his spiritual beliefs and that now, according to what he used to say, he is in a better place. Ruth is not ready to accept what her mother is saying; discouraged, she goes to her room and breaks down on her bed. After a short prayer, she falls asleep and sees him (Matthew Alva) in her dream. When he appears to her, he has no scars from the accident and, smiling, he assures her that her mother was right about him being in a better place, and that someday they will meet again. Ruth wakes up to a new life of closure and assurance.
