Composer Richard Band, brother of Charles from Full Moon, is the guest here as he goes over his numerous film credits. Band has written scores for films such as TROLL, MUTANT and METAL STORM but the real focus here is the one he created for RE-ANIMATOR. He talks about reading the screenplay and thinking that it was way too dirty to actually get on film and then after seeing that it did get on film he had to fight with the director over the score. The director wanted a real horror score while Band thought it was best to go with a more campy, fun score. We get to hear about the making of the score, which actually led to a near riot in Italy when his musicians turned out to be from opposite unions and a fight broke out. Band comes off very entertaining here and he certainly makes the stories fun. This is mainly going to appeal to those RE-ANIMATOR fans as the entire interview basically focuses on that film.
