Patty Is Looking Old and Small and More Fierce
18 April 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

As is always the case, there are forces unseen and seen that are working on this case. The case is a weird one because they need to prove that the release of information led to a woman's suicide. The daughter, who is beset by guilt, is the one bringing the charges. In her deposition she comes off as utterly unreliable, with only hearsay on her side. We are also made aware that there is someone controlling the purse strings that is becoming impatient with how the investigation is going. He has a foreign accent and is uncomfortable with Ellen's handling. There is also a strange moment when the little girl, playing around with the computer keyboard, refuses a note from some weird guy we've already seen. There is an icon of a guy thrusting a sword into his stomach. But Patty never sees it because she only notices the little girl messing with the laptop. At the conclusion, that old lawyer comes with news for Patty that someone has been trying to contact her because he is dying.
