Gibbs gives McAlister a quarter to play a song on the jukebox. He punches in E-7. E-7 is the enlisted rank of Gunnery Sergeant that Gibbs held as a Marine.

Goofs
In the alternate reality where Kate survived, the doctor told Tony he had a boy; later, Abby says that Kate and Tony had a baby girl named Kelly named after Gibbs daughter. However, these are two different alternate realities. In the first reality where Kate survived, and is seen, Gibbs has still killed his family's murderer. Only later, when Kate's baby is discussed in the basement, is the reality in which he did not avenge their death explored. Given the episode's theme of "ripples in a pond" making countless changes down the road, it is perfectly reasonable to believe the difference in Kate's child's sex was intended.

This is one of my favorite series. The character build-up has been slow at times, but steady. I've dreaded the lose of some of them, as they seem to become family. Kate was one of those.

This episode has one of my favorite characters, Mike Franks, in a returning role. His was perhaps the best semi-regular.

The show is really about the epilogue of a current case that plays in flashbacks through this episode. As a milestone for the series, thus the "200" subject line, it ranks as one of the best. What did amaze me was that I missed the first airing. I'm quite glad I caught it as a re-run.

Most poignant was the sequence with Gibbs and his wife.
