"Long Way Down" is a documentary about friends Ewan McGregor (Star Wars: Episode 1, 2, and 3) and Charley Boorman's (Deliverance, Excalibur) motorcycle trip from John O'Groats in Scotland to Cape Town, South Africa.
Charley journeys in a circular route starting and finishing in Cape Town, experiencing the deeply rooted cultures, the extraordinary people, the remarkable wildlife and heart-stopping adventures along the way.
I knew I was going to enjoy this series, as I have seen Charlie before riding his bike around the globe with his Hollywood mate, and it is one of my fav series ever on TV.
It is nothing new, but this series did show some stuff I had not seen before and I would love to visit my mate John in Canada one day.
Overall it is well filmed, at times it feels like you are there with Charlie, and it is one of the things I do like about him as a presenter, he is raw and brutally honest at times, but the one thing I don't care for is the amount of times he resorts to using the F word.
All in all a great show, 8 out of 10 for me!
