This six-minute interview with Lucio Fulci's daughter Antonella can be found on Blue Underground's special edition of ZOMBIE. There's not too much time spent with Antonella but she certainly shares a lot of stories including the fact that her father most enjoyed working on CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD from all of his horror pictures. While she wasn't with him on the set of ZOMBIE she says he shared many stories with her. According to her, Fulci really enjoyed working on this picture and his idea of the damage of a zombie would do is the main reason for the gore level. Antonella says that her father didn't think a zombie bite would just have a few drops of blood so he went all out and delivered on the gore level. The daughter also defends her father saying that he wasn't a brutal or sadistic man, something that has often been said about him by many of those who worked with him. Overall this is a very pleasant interview and it's nice hearing from a family member who gets to share a few personal moments about her famous father.
