Wilson and Amina kick off season two with two stories from one of the poorest countries in the world, Niger. First Amina travels to a small suburb in Niamey called Karadje, to meet Boubacar Nouhou, a young man who nominated his grandmother. She makes and sells pancakes next to the street, and that is the family's only source of income. Amina then makes her way to a small village North of Niamey called Koira Tequi. There she meets Fato Boni, a disabled women who, with the help of her nine-year-old daughter, has to beg on the street for a living.
