      Jamie Foxx suffered a brain bleed leading to a stroke on set during filming in April 2023, leading to emergency surgery and a months-long recovery, before fully recovering and returning to set to finish filming. During his recovery, he had to re-learn to walk and undergo intense speech therapy to regain full use of his speech. It was said he had a 5% chance of survival, but defied the odds and made a full recovery.

    It works!

    Let's be honest: no one expects the next Oscar winner here. Just a movie for the whole family for movie night. And that's exactly what you get with Back in Action!

    There is definitely a chemistry between Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx. I like both actors and they have some funny one liners in this film.

    The plot itself... well... don't expect something special. I really wonder if they used an AI to write this script. But maybe then it would have been better?!

    Anyway - the actors carry this movie. We like them, so we like this. I'm lying sick in bed and was happy to watch it. Not too much to think about... Please make a sequel for the next time I have the flu!
