Sweet episode with interesting backstory

(MINOR SPOILERS!) I personally like this episode. I know it may seem a little unrealistic that Shifu who's so old would have a father still being alive, but who knows how old red pandas get, you know ;) And it is however very beautiful to see. It's nice to get a little more backstory to Shifu and get to know how he's life was before coming to the Yade palace and meeting Master Oogway. It surprised me that they created such a tragic backstory for him, it really puts my imagination in spin how his first reaction of coming to the Yade palace would have been and what an emotional journey it must have been for him becoming something so different from what he could've become. And it also kinda makes you understand the bond between him and Oogway a lot more. And I like how it somehow worked out between Shifu and his father Shirong in the end and that Shifu gets to see things in a little different perspective. And it's nice to see an old kind of relation for Shifu end up good in the end.
