The rocka is a special kind of mix between documentary and mockumentary. In fact i probably should have known more about it before writing. But then - I saw this in the theater without any kind of knowledge, except it being a kindf of Norwegian "Spinal Tap"
This functions very well. A lot of Norwegian musicians participate, and though this is mostly made for fun, you more and more start believing this is a true story. That's well done, and this being an ultra low budget film, I think this is a great film on it's premises.
The story is about an old rocker, well over his rocking days, if he ever did have some successful of those. At least in his own eyes. Gathering three guys to make a "comeback", though no one remembers him.
However this is both a fiasco and successful. It's both crazy, rightly clichéd and still very believably told.
When this gets a 6 and not 7 out of 10, which it is very close to getting, it's because of some scenes not as well fitted into the film as they should. And maybe a lack of pace in the middle of the film.
The end, however, steals the moment! Well done for little money!
