1965 in the HoBo woods of Vietnam, A GI soldier; Pvt. Johannes Schenke (Han) an Engineer avoids being captured & attempt's to save an alleged nVa operative Vietnamese girl, (Kim-Ly) from a man they call Ranger and his renegade Special Forces squad operating out of an abandon nVa (North Vietnamese Army), bunker. Out on patrol, the 106th squad searches for this bunker but runs into moral inner personal issues leading to the squads destruction. Written by Joe Black
