On one hand S the D is an unabashed sex comedy, on the other hand, a mindful critique of a careless sex culture. S the D follows Liz, an aging LA socialite struggling with her libido and male expectations. After a dry spell that leads to a bizarre encounter with a young LA stud, Liz is forced to come to terms with how she really feels about the environment she lives in. The trouble is, her closest confidant is a flamboyant embodiment of that very environment. When harsh critique is fended off by sexual, verbal ju-jitsu and titillating distractions, how will Liz's new found perspective stand in such an overpowering culture?
