Good Historical Information
16 November 2011 | by wonderslySee all my reviews

This documentary gives a good overall view as to why Detroit has experienced its unique struggles over the past century. There is a lot of archival footage in the first half that leads in to the modern Detroit.

The modern day characters who lead us around Detroit offer an interesting outside perspective which adds to the wonder of the city's situation - they see a lot of run down and abandoned buildings.

It takes a hard look at the desperation in the inner city. The section on Blight Busters is promising and informative. It did a good job at showing realistic things that are being done to improve the city.

Overall, it's worth a watch.
