Storyline

Vice-President Walden and his team are making preparations for the announcement of his candidacy for President, and several different factions are on their own mission for the event. David tries to convince him that if he is set on going ahead with the announcement at this time, that he do it in a more secured setting as Walker is still at large. Walker has to find a way into the secured zone to be able to have clear and undetected access for his shot. Brody not only prepares himself for his final suicide bomb mission, but also videotapes a confession for later viewing about his view that the Vice-President, who ordered the attack that killed several children including Abu Nazir's son but who publicly blamed that attack on Al Qaeda, is the true terrorist. Brody has to decide if he will ultimately go through with the plan or if there is another better option about which his backers will support. In Brody's preparation, Dana believes she understands why her father has been acting so ... Written by Huggo

Ironically, the buckles used on the vest Brody is wearing, are Marine Corps brass buckles . Just like the one he's wearing on his web belt while in uniform. See more »

Worst Premium Channel Season Finale Ever!
18 December 2011 | by tampajoeySee all my reviews

OK, maybe that's a little harsh since there are several Premium Channel series I haven't watched to judge this to be the worst finale ever. Some other series I have watched include: Californication, Weeds, Dexter, Spartacus, Rome, Game of Thrones, Sopranos, Deadwood, Entourage, and How to Make It in America. Those series season finales were excellent when compared to Homeland's season one finale. Homeland's finale felt more like a boring 90 minute "filler" episode.

I've enjoyed the previous episodes of Homeland and would rate them solidly in the 8's. I'm not going to reveal any of the details to skew your opinion of the finale. The build up to the finale was a good ride with the twists and turns, but the finale fell flat on it's face. What a letdown! In any season finale I expect major questions that have been posed throughout the season to be answered. Don't expect any answers or loose ends tied up in the Homeland season one finale. I'm so disgusted with this finale that I will have to very seriously consider watching next season.

Good luck staying awake just to get to an anticlimactic ending.

But, if you've come this far then obviously watch and judge for yourself.
