An excellent performance by Danes

Most of the stuff that comes out of Hollywood is drivel and nonsense aimed at viewers who really don't want to think about what they are watching. I haven't watched network tv in about 20 years, and the last time I was at a theater was to see the movie "The Babe" with John Goodman (it was good but a lot of misstated facts). The only reason I've been looking at "Homeland" is because I mistakenly downloaded it from a file share app. And the only reason I've come this far in the series is because of Claire Danes. She is a really good actress! This episode is the best so far (imho),. It may not have been as dramatic as "The Weekend", but the way Claire performed that psychotic scene at the beginning was top notch acting. IMO, Claire Danes makes the "Homeland" series well worth watching.
