Storyline

Flash ahead to Walter's 52nd birthday: he's at a Denny's, disheveled, hair and beard unkempt, using a false name and a New Hampshire driver's license, paying a guy for a car with weapons in the trunk. Back to the immediate aftermath of Gus's death: Skyler is dazed at Walt's murderous success, Walt and Jesse make peace, and Hank visits the burned-out lab. Walt remembers the surveillance cameras Gus used at the lab, so they turn to an angry Mike for help. Can they get rid of the digital evidence in police custody? Is hubris going to trip up Walt? Trivia

Old Joe compares the feasibility of Walt's mobile super-magnet to that of "string theories and God particles", in this episode first broadcast July 15, 2012. On July 4th, just eleven days prior, the actual long-sought "God particle" (the Higgs boson) was detected for the first time by the Large Hadron Collider on the Franco-Swiss border. See more »

He's back and he's bad
17 July 2012 | by scott677See all my reviews

After too long a wait the 5th season is back and Walt's quiet brooding has taken a scary turn.

Walt's alter ego, Heisenberg, used to take care of the nasty side of things but it seems he and his pork-pie hat may have been left in the old word. After last season; with a quiet word, Walt now sends chills down the spine of most he talks to as everyone now realizes what he is capable of. While the reigns of power are now in his hands again, the dynamic duo seem to have a new member now that should allow the business to continue well, although we will have to wait to see how they all get all now and how long it will last.

I am not looking forward to the end of this show but i do hope they write it out with style, although i cannot really imagine them doing anything else.
