A man who is a confidential informant working for Erin is killed. She has Danny investigate to find out if he was killed because it was discovered he's an informant and if so how? When a video that shows a police officer beating up someone comes out, Frank looks into it. First he talks to the officer who says that video was edited to make it appear he was rough on the man. He then learns that the source of the video is a man who has it in for the NYPD and tries to get him to give the actual video. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com
The main plot line in this Blue Bloods episode involves Donnie Wahlberg and Jennifer Esposito investigating the shooting of a union official. The deceased was a member of the construction trade and he was acting as an informant for that other Reagan family member ADA Bridget Moynahan and she's working closely with her brother on this. She'd like not to think that the deceased activity for her caused her informant's demise.
The question of conscience here is that the deceased came to law enforcement because he was concerned about possible crooked activity in the union. A little bow to On The Waterfront for this question.
Was it connected to his activities? I can say yes and no on this one. I will also say it was something that was not asked of Bridget Moynahan that sets in motion the events that solve this case.
I wasn't crazy about the reason given for the slaying. But I did love the performance of Adam Scarimbolo as the actual shooter. He comes from as long a tradition of criminal activity as the Reagans have in law enforcement. But he's one real bottom feeder.
I'd watch this one mainly for him.
