I segreti di Twin Peaks (1990), eccentric FBI agent Francis York Morgan arrives to investigate the ritualistic murder of a woman in the forest surrounding the small town of Greenvale, a murder which may be related to other killings he is investigating and which all have one thing in common - the seeds of a strange red tree found at each crime scene. The town's sheriff and his deputies assist York in his investigation which quickly focuses on the town's legend of the raincoat serial killer. York also consults with his invisible friend called Zach. During the game, York keeps switching between the normal world and the world of shadows where he must avoid various dangers while continuing his investigation there. As evidence, visions and bodies start piling up, York realizes that there may be much more to this case than simply catching a deranged serial killer.
