Storyline

Gandhi, a goldfish with a French accent - now living in the neighborhood's pet store - has always dreamed of living in the ocean. One day, Rufus - a struggling, young musician, comes along and ends up buying this goldfish with-an-attitude. Gandhi, now further away from his dream than ever, inspires Rufus to compose again and a very special friendship grows between the two dreamers until Edith shows up one day.
