This relatively old Natural World with a slightly sarky narration from Phillipa Forrester (which further dates it) chronicles a year in the life of the lost gardens of Heligen in Cornwall - a 17th-19th C sprawling estate that was restored quite publicly in the late 1990s. Frankly as natural world filming assignments go it's rather a peachy one and the gardens are gorgeous - whatever the weather or time of year. It does have the rather unctuous vibe of a promotional DVD you'd buy in their visitor's centre though - with lots of "here at Heligen, things are done THE OLD FASHIONED WAY" platitudes. That being said it fair did the job and if the 2021 circumstances were different I'd probably pack a picnic and be off there tomorrow.
