At Long Last Leave is a terrific Simpsons episode, but its not just any old episode, its the series landmark 500th episode, thats one big number, and congratulations the everyone working so hard on The Simpsons for making this happen.I don't know where I would be today without my favourite animated family. The story to the episode was a great way to celebrate the 500th,because its kind of something you've been waiting to see the town of Springfield do for a a while, eliminating the Simpsons. The opening to the show was amazing, with Milhouse on the chalkboard, giving Bart a break, and the couch gag, going through every other couch gag to the show ever had from the beginning.
The entire town of Springfield (except Ned Flanders),agrees to kick The Simpsons out of Springfield. The family are devastated, but they eventually find peace in a quiet place called The Outlands.
