At the beginning of the film, when Linda's purchase is rung up at the register, there are a total of three items: chicken breast, brown rice, and carrots. However, only the chicken is clearly distinguishable at the station, and there is obviously a carton of eggs, which is not listed as a purchase.

When Linda and Jason are first in the boys dressing room discussing the play, there is a poster behind Linda which is misspelled - it reads KIGNSTON PLAYERS.

In the first interior shot, the hallway is shown teeming with students and activity, accompanied with energetic music, as the camera is tracking backwards. When it pans to the left, Linda exits her classroom, closing the door and locking it. The music stops when the door meets the threshold, and as the camera pans to the hallway again, it is now completely deserted, 10 seconds after Linda first appears.

This is not necessarily an error. It is such an abrupt transition that it might have been intentional, to emphasize Linda's isolation. This might be how she perceives herself, alone among a crowd of others.

When he first meets Ms. Sinclair, Jason reminds her that he was in the class of 2007. Later on you can see on his Facebook page that he was born in 1987, which would have made him 20 when he graduated high school.

Several cars are shown with Pennsylvania front license plates, Pennsylvania the "location" for the film does not have front plates, though New York where it was filmed does.

At the beginning, the narrator chastises Linda for being too picky in her dating life. But the men shown as examples are all losers, so Linda should reject them. Of course, as is demonstrated by the film's end, the narrator may have reasons of her own for being wishing to control Linda's life.
