Plot Summary

On the hunt for the seven men who murdered her best friend, Lady leads a life focused on revenge. Now, it was written in the book 'Les Liasons', and I quote, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." - but Lady's thirst is not an emotional debate of revenge. She's on autopilot. One thing she knows for certain with quick, cold retribution - these men must die. Lady isn't the only one living in this collapsed world of decay. Henry and his daughter Samantha have been struggling in this nightmare since before Sam's birth. This world is all Samantha knows and it's up to her father to set life's stage, tempered with the rights and wrongs of a society long past. For Henry, teaching his daughter "the rules of the road" and how to live from the scraps of the past, she represents all he has left for what future can one offer a child when the past has already consumed the best that humanity ever had to offer? She's his guiding light - he is her only hope of survival. Of course, what is hope and innocence without dismay and malevolence? There is a man, a hunter, a psychopathic killer by all definitions, who wanders the land without conscience. Yuri searches and cultivates the land around him. But, unlike a farmer nurturing his field, Yuri works to slash and burn - dealing out torture, death and sorrow at every opportunity. His existence in relation to Lady, Henry and Samantha is key to what will eventually bring them all together - for they each hold answers to one another's future. Written by Mark Roush
