sid episode with laughs throughout

Warning: Spoilers
This episode takes a real issue of the time, the iraq war and really puts in on the plate in front of everyone. I give credit to family guy for being bold and telling a real story here about american issues. Most family guy political episodes land with a moral and that is present here also. Political strife can tear a lot of people apart and Iraq, 9/11 are serious issues with serious consequences. This episode holds little back while offer lots of cheeky dialogue to keep you entertained throughout.

It probably could have been a 9 or a 10 if the episode had more impact on the show ongoing but as is, it's a political stance episode the holds up.

Joe's son returns.......in a sea of beige.

Warning: Spoilers
Thanksgiving sees the Griffins entertaining the neighbours. Bonnie and Joe's son Kevin turns up from Iraq, having been feared dead, inconsistencies with Kevin's story see him reveal where he actually was.

The previous episode back to the pilot was such a success, following that was always going to be a challenge, and this one seems a bit forgettable in comparison. It's very much a political episode, with a definite message being told throughout.

A little similar to the recent episode with Quagmire's sister and violent brother in law, in that it feels the writer is using to show to express an opinion. It's watchable, but instantly forgettable.

What happened to the laughs? 5/10
