Wow!

My wife and I saw this film at the Burbank film festival. My wife is Iranian so we already knew about Neda and remember seeing the reports on the news. It was shocking. This film did a great job of explaining who Neda was and stayed true to its authenticity. The filmmaker did a great job of not trying to sensationalize the story. I think it really reflects what most Iranians were going through at that time. My wife and I both brought to tears. Really beautiful little film. The actor playing Neda did a great job too. I understand a little Persian but it was really easy to follow and the subtitles were not a distraction at all. Good honest film. Glad to see someone plucked up the courage to make this film. The filmmaker has a lot of guts!
