Storyline

Kyle is eager to get Jade to accept busybody Michelle, who even reorganized the kitchen without asking them, must go and suggests Honga as alternative. Jade protests but changes her mind after Michelle 'boorows' an outfit without asking. Alas, just then Michelle brings over her new boyfriend, none other then Lucas, so the ominous house meeting must wait. Toadie's first day as corporate lawyer is hell, from traffic queue and boring colleagues over a reprimand from boss Noonan to a stack of homework. Callums starts regretting having opted out of music class as Sophie is clearly into guitar boy Noah Parkin, who tutors her privately after a boring first class. Written by KGF Vissers

"She can't just come in here and start taking over"
30 August 2011 | by See all my reviews

Not surprisingly, Toadie has a hellish first day at work. But, given that it mostly involves having to do work, living a long way from the office and having an annoying brat for a son(and a girlfriend who rings you at work for no apparent reason?), it's perhaps not as hellish as it might appear. His protracted entrance to a meeting, complete with awkward stand-up comedy, is deliciously embarrassing.

Sophie is stuck with a similarly not surprising guitar lesson, as she learns you have to find out what the notes and chords are before being allowed to do a rock solo.Meanwhile, Michelle is irritating and clearly needs a lesson in boundaries but perhaps not so much that she needs to be thrown out on her ear as Kyle seems to think, although her manipulative side seems much to the fore now.
