A fab (sadly rarely seen) episode
18 August 2016 | by studioATSee all my reviews

'Self help' was one of the episodes of 'Mr Sunshine' that are available on the DVD (which has a really jumbled up order of episodes by the way) but never aired on ABC.

This is a shame because lots of the issues that blighted earlier episodes seem to have been fixed, which is normally the way with new shows. I wish ABC had given it longer.

Yes, it's still centred on Matthew Perry, of course it is, but here all the other characters have something to do. The character of Heather is fab and even the Alice/Alonzo characters are worked better into the action.

This show was inconsistent at times, but here it is on fine form.
