Storyline

Sheriff Jody Mill calls Dean and Sam to tell them about strange cases of mummified victims in Canton, Ohio, and the Winchester brothers head to the town to interview a disbelieved witness. The teenager tells that he saw a man wearing overcoat and hat bend over his neighbor in an alley and turning him into a mummy. Dean and Sam investigate further and discover the stranger's name, Mr. Snider, and where he lives. They stalk him and when Mr. Snider is attacking another victim, Dean jumps over him and they vanish in a red light. Dean is sent back to 1944 and is arrested by the police, but Eliot Ness releases and teams-up with Dean to chase Mr. Snider, who is actually Chronus, the Time God. Meanwhile Sam and Jody are trying to find a means to bring Dean back to 2012. Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Goofs

Jodi finds a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue that Rufus had given Bobby from losing a bet. Jodi reads the note attached to it signed "R". She asks "Who's 'R'?" Sam replies "Rufus". Jodi seems to have no idea who that is but she helped get Rufus extradited so that he could help Bobby with getting his soul back. It was a huge favor she was doing that could have in her words "nuked her career". So it's hard to imagine that she wouldn't remember Rufus. See more »

Great Show
14 January 2012 | by jakre10See all my reviews

I loved this episode. The 40s genre was great and Dean was perfect for it. Everything was so realistic. I have been a fan of Jason Dohring's since his days as Joseph on Moonlight which should still be on the air. He was great in this role. To be perfectly honest I kept looking at him and said I know that guy I just can't place him. Sure enough it finally came to me. I know he died off in this episode but it would be really great if the writers (who by the way or some of the best in the world) could somehow bring him back. I'm sure with their creative minds they can think of something. And, hooray for the People's Choice awards. Great job and well deserved
