Storyline

Newly installed governor Sam Denning mandates I.A. officer captain Vince Fryer to 'weed out' suspect cops, and Kono is targeted. Lori Weston, dropped in 5-O by the governor, must quickly win McGarret's respect, if not his trust, in the case of the kidnapping of competitive surfer Jenn Hassley, reported by her adoptive parents. Prime suspect Mike Hassley is found murdered, both trails lead to Jenn's biological ancestors in the lunatic recluse commune of Steven Carver. Jenna Kaye leaves the team to follow a new trace of her missing fiancé.
