One night while Rannie and her friends, including the fun-loving Ingrid, are hanging out, one of them realizes they need to score some weed. They ask Rannie to ask Rannie's cousin, Nicholas, for some pot, even though Ingrid doesn't know him well. She goes to his room, and although he is withdrawn socially the two strike up a conversation. She leaves briefly, comes back as she forgot her phone, and, spontaneously and prompted by only their mutual attraction, have passionate sex. She leaves again this time, and she's not sure what happened. She returns days later and Nicholas is at first embarrassed by his action. Ingrid isn't, however, and she proposes they start a 'no-strings-attached' relationship that no one else needs to know about. While this relationship unfolds, we get to learn more about where Nicholas was coming from before this night - he had a girlfriend Jamie, that he stole from his best friend and who died in a tragic car crash - and Ingrid's partying lifestyle and how that clashes with Nicholas. This is about young adults who have to navigate through their personal responsibilities, past mistakes, semi-dangerous habits and self-destructive behavior.
