The end credit/near-titular song "Diamond Halo" (from which much of the inspiration for the movie came) was written by Morgan Keating of The Russell Hill Band of Brookline, New Hampshire. Not only was Keating's name "Morgan" given to the main character "Morgan Thompson" but can also be seen portraying Rose's father, "Matthew" in the picture frame she holds up while unpacking.

Additionally, the lines "... the clear" and "diamond halo" which both are mentioned in title and movie dialogue are sung about in the song - the exact lines of inspiration above and beyond the haunting beauty of the song itself which impacted JCL - prior fan of Keating and The Russell Hill Band.
