Latest Toy Story 4 Plot Details Tease a Franchise Finale Tearjerker
New information about Toy Story 4 has been revealed. The movie has been on a bumpy path since it was announced in 2014, but thankfully, everything seems to be running smoothly now. Back at the end of last year some new information teased that the story will bring forth a big adventure, which has seemingly been confirmed in the latest story information. The gang has a new home and is apparently back to loving life, living with Bonnie. However, the arrival of Forky throws everything off balance.

Forky is a spork with some pipe cleaner arms and doesn't consider himself to be a toy. We've seen the new nervous character teased in previously released Toy Story 4 promotional material. Forky is voiced by Veep's Tony Hale and is pretty uncomfortable joining his new friends, which leads to an outside world adventure and learning what it means to be a toy. They

  • Deadline
Cineworld, the world’s second largest theater group, has released partial results for 2018 with highlights including revenue growth of 7.2% on a pro-forma basis and a record 308M cinema-goers.

Whoa! Keanu Reeves Suffers Career-Worst Box Office Opening With ‘Replicas’
Nearly 20 years after starring in “The Matrix,” Keanu Reeves has suffered the worst wide-release box office opening of his career with “Replicas,” a sci-fi film shunned by audiences and critics alike.

The sci-fi movie grossed a mere $2.5 million from 2,329 screens, falling below tracker projections for a $4-7 million launch and earning a per screen average of just $1,073.

It is the lowest opening for a film starring Reeves that opened on more than 1,000 screens. The last time he had a launch this low was all the way back in 1990 with the TriStar crime comedy “I Love You to Death,” which opened to $4 million.

2018’s Record Box Office: Highlights From The Overseas Profit Center & What’s Ahead For 2019 – Global Studio Chart

  • Deadline
With $41.66B worldwide, movie theater turnstiles spun to another record in 2018. Largely boosted by domestic receipts, the total includes a preliminary comScore estimate of $29.8B from the international box office. That’s also a record, though just a 1% increase on 2017 with some offshore markets stung by exchange rate fluctuations, homegrown movie performance, a hot summer and the World Cup. The overseas percentage may increase when actuals are tallied, but either way, execs and industry watchers remain bullish on the future.

Deadline finance sources estimate repatriated dollars are down approximately 6.3% across the Top 20 overseas hubs. Still, all six major studios are estimated to be profitable in 2018. Despite the plethora of alternatives and some roadbumps, there’s a sentiment that Hollywood business is thriving, and international is the key with 70% give-or-take of the movie business generated offshore. Ancillary markets are robust and there’s been an increase in studio cost-consciousness — think overseas

How Brad Bird Overcame Superhero Fatigue to Make ‘The Incredibles 2’
A version of this article about “The Incredibles 2” first appeared in the TheWrap magazine’s Oscar Nominations Preview issue.

Back in 2004, when Brad Bird’s Pixar smash “The Incredibles” came out, only one other film among the year’s Top 10 box office champions was a superhero movie: “Spider-Man 2,” the second-biggest movie of the year. But flash forward 14 years to the release of “The Incredibles 2” and you have a wildly different picture: Four of the movies in the Top 5 and six in the Top 10 are superhero flicks, with “Black Panther,” “The Avengers: Infinity War,” “Deadpool 2,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and “Venom” joining Bird’s film atop the charts.

“The landscape changed so radically between the first film and this one,” said Bird. “There were only a couple of superhero franchises that were active when we did the first film: Batman had gone dormant, Superman was on ice and Marvel

Now that the dust has settled on 2018, ComScore is reporting that the movie industry enjoyed a record year at the box office over the past twelve months with a $41.7 billion worldwide haul – almost a fifth of which ended up in Disney’s coffers.

New Toy Story 4 Photo And Plot Details Tease What’s To Come

Even in this era where franchises are practically obligated to keep going until the magic is gone, many fans were surprised and disappointed to hear that Pixar was at work on Toy Story 4 after the third movie brought such poignant closure to the series. And while it’s likely that most of these detractors will be checking out the fourth installment anyway, you do have to wonder what stories are still left to tell for the old gang.

Fortunately, it seems we may have some fresh details on the movie courtesy of a new Russian calendar (which is proving to be a surprisingly informative source when it comes to upcoming Disney sequels). According to Instagram user mmdisney200, the calendar’s Toy Story 4 page has a synopsis that translates as follows:

“Since Andy went to college, toys have moved to a new house where a small girl named Bonnie lives.

Top 10 Box Office Predictions for 2019 (Photos)

  • The Wrap
2019 has just gotten started, and it’s looking like it could very well bring a box office as big as 2018. That’s thanks in large part to Disney, which is sporting six, yes Six films that could make a bid to earn over $1 billion worldwide this year. That’s why they dominate our predictions for the top 10 highest global grossing films of 2019, including the top five slots.

10.) “Spider-Man: Far From Home” (July 5) — Sony will get in on the Marvel Studios money train with this sequel to “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” which made $880 million worldwide in 2017. With “The Lion King” hitting theaters two weeks after this film, it’s possible that “Far From Home” could see a smaller total figure due to the competition. What could counter that is if “Avengers: Endgame” leaves an intriguing narrative thread for the (currently dead) Peter Parker to pick up, creating more interest among fans to see

2018 Worldwide Box Office Hits Record as Disney Dominates
2018’s movie business hit all-time benchmarks of $11.9 billion in North America and $41.7 billion globally, with Disney taking in nearly a fifth of that figure.

ComScore announced the official 2018 final figures Wednesday with Disney taking in $7.33 billion globally last year — the second-biggest year for a studio in industry history, behind only Disney’s own 2016 record of $7.61 billion. Its domestic box office hit $3.09 billion as a new industry record ahead of Disney’s previous record of $3 billion in 2016, as “Black Panther,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Incredibles 2″ each surpassed $600 million this year. International box office was $4.23 billion, Disney’s second-biggest year.

More than one in four of U.S. moviegoing dollars went to Disney, as its domestic market share was 26.1% despite only releasing 14 films all year.

Studio chairman Alan Horn said in a statement, “Thanks to the support of fans of Disney, Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm around the world, it’s
