Storyline

2156 A.D. The Essex, a deep space fishing vessel for industry giant, AmberCorp, is ready to make its final harvest of the season. The ship brushes with a rare creature, mammoth in size and highly territorial. Could this be the same leviathan that killed Richard and Owen's father? To make matters worse, a vicious band of scavengers intercept the transmission and infiltrate the Essex, leaving them with nothing. With no cargo and few supplies, the captain makes a daring decision, they will venture into uncharted territory, playing for keeps, to capture the creature for a large black market take. It's not that bad actually
25 May 2019 | by bilismitSee all my reviews

It keeps your attention until the very end, has decent effects, the characters are a bit predictable, other than the more famous actors who actually did a good job. The movie does end with few questions unanswered, but it doesn't quite leave you with that bad taste in your mouth. You won't see anything new here, but compared to a lot of recent movies, this one is enjoyable. No one paid the bots to advertise so the crew behind this film must be feeling confident and that is really refreshing.
