Rajkumar Rao had a very bad falling out with the director. Rajkumar kept insisting the director sign his girlfriend Patralekha for the wedding singer's role. The director told Rajkumar it was impossible as they had already signed another actress. Rajkumar then asked the director to drop the other actress. The director refused as that would be unethical.
