Med student David Morretti can't stand by now his father's heart is to be broken by the family Boston pizzeria being about to be dispossessed by the city for a skyscraper. So he enters and surprisingly wins, by showing some skin, the competition for sexy young Santa at the ailing local mall. Thus he becomes the charge of its ambitious junior manager Jennifer Walker, who hopes to win a promotion, impress her lover and superior Neal McCormick and, as she soon learns, prevent the mall being closed. David and Jen initially despise each-other, but grow closer, almost romantically bond, until each in turn learns about the ruthless tycoon owner Edgar Hillridge's machinations and cahoot.
