Storyline

The mysterious disappearance of horses from a stranded wagon train leaving the travelers alone and worried. Judge Force Crater (Edward Khmara) volunteers the fastest guide to bring back detectives to investigate not only the disappearance of the horses, but also the weird electric company employee, Lee Stevens (Steven "Jules" Rubin) and the device (Carbon Arc Contrivance) stolen from George Fletcher and the Alpena Power Company. The stranded travelers are frightened and mistake the Pinkerton's, Charles Siringo (Steve Shaw) and James McParland (Caleb Brandon) as bandits and open fire. Through the confusion. The Pinkertons and the Judge call a seize fire and then actually investigate the Carbon Arc Contrivance, finding out if it truly had anything to do with the disappearing horses.
