In my DVD of "Charlie's Angels 2011" this episode is the second one, and I didn't find it as good as the pilot. To start with, the title is a curious choice: it was also used for an episode of the old series, but in that episode the Angels went from L.A to Hawaii, thereby justifying the title; this episode is set in Miami, which could be described as paradise for some people, but the entire SERIES is set there, so what's so special about this time? Anyway, the Angels are after a notorious kidnapper who only looks for big payoffs, yet this time he has targeted the son of a woman who's been left broke after her husband committed suicide. There is a little too much time spent on Abby's less-than-interesting family background (even bringing in Jack's father from "Lost" to play her father doesn't help much), and guest star Dina Meyer is wasted. Even the fight scenes are a mixed bag: a couple of great moves from Abby and Kate, but also one of the fakest headbutts (from Kate) I have ever seen! **1/2 out of 4.
