Storyline

Work in Progress is a documentary project originally intended to chronicle the path of a first time stone masons attempt to create a 1000 foot long dry stone wall in rural Quebec. Instead the film develops into a broader meditation about expectations. WIP is the story of two artists who inadvertently link their creative forces in a relationship that is at once codependent antagonistic and profoundly rewarding. They question the unexpectedly massive undertaking of their chosen art projects reminding us all that sometimes art and life are as much about the process than it is about the finished product.
