    • Trivia
Julie's and Stuart's story varies drastically from the first story in the book. Julie's parents have been arrested in a riot over Christmas village ornaments and Julie is sent to Florida to her grandparents but the train gets stuck in the snow. She goes to a Waffle House and meets Stuart whose car is stuck in the snow. He suggests they walk to his house. They fall into a frozen lake and he and his family make her feel welcome on Christmas day. In the film, Stuart is the one without a place to go on Christmas and he is a big star, also Julie's mom is sick.
    • Goofs
Julie's acceptance letter indicates that she has been accepted to the Columbia School of Journalism. Though it has a famous graduate program in journalism, Columbia University has no undergraduate program available to a graduating high school senior.
    • Quotes

Dorrie: Have you ever been with someone, and you stay up until like 4AM just talking about everything, and you're just like, I can't believe I get to exist at the same time as you?

Keon: No, but like I'm really happy for you?

    • Crazy credits
There is a scene with the Tin Foil Woman singing in the car the same song used in the ending credits.

A beautiful romantic feel good movie
It was very interesting and engaging all the time. Like, there was no time when I felt that it's way too long or slow. I guess it was perfect in everything like the cast and all but yeah, the film could have been better. I loved how they used the same song for Angie and Tobin. That was really great for building the connection with the characters. It had good comedy and romance which I was expecting from it. So, in that scenario it was up to my expectations and I felt really amazing after watching it and while watching it. This was one of the reason why I really liked it.
