Fred can stay, I will leave.
3 October 2012 | by myserialhuggerSee all my reviews

Wanted to like this movie. The premise is good, but story is quite flimsy and dreary. Apparently, this is based on the filmmaker's parents. Believed it was even filmed in the same house he grew up in. There are a couple if good throwaway lines in this film, but not much else. Elliot Gould looks sad and haggard. Not sure if he is acting or just because he signed up for this project. The film is only 75 minutes long, but seems longer. Lots of nature shots (used as filler?) Writer & director Richard Ledes also has a cameo as a jogger.Think he should stick with the writing and directing. Felt like I was seeing a rough draft of a story with a possible potential of a much better film. . .
