Storyline

Matt starts to despair about Rebecca but refuses to give in as Sophie counsels, who got him to voluntarily guard her with more unsubstantiated accusations against men. Zach, who sided with Frances against his 'unfaithful' father, counsels her to start enjoying life instead of remaining an alcoholic. Instead, she excuses all Jasmine's excessive misbehavior as a cry for help and steps in for 'mother' Lily, to the point of offering a stable home when she plans to move in with her latest lover in Perth, only to be turned down by the spoiled-rotten brat. Jen does a lousy job trying to take over the household while mother Trish is diagnoses in urgent need of cancer surgery. When Trish postpones it not to spoil Wes and Bridget's pregnancy joy, Jen spills the beans. Mother Carolyn Gilbert's stuck-up attitude spoils the wellness weekend Rebecca booked for them, but warns her not to spoil her romantic future out of bitterness like she did. Written by KGF Vissers
