Storyline

Host Tom Bergeron kicks off the "Dancing with the Stars" finale with a dramatic introduction to the three finalists: Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane and Kirstie Alley.

The pros get the dancing started with a group routine that rolls into an introduction of all the couples that came and went this season.

To the recap: Chelsea & Mark ripped up the night despite a technical malfunction of Chelsea's lighting apparatus. They finished with 59 judges' points.

Maks & Kirstie surprised everyone with acrobatics and finished with 54 points. Len Goodman reacted to the crowd's boos by saying, "If they don't like our scores, then vote for them. That's the deal."

Hines & Kym made it a near-perfect night again and wound up with 59 points.

The finalists will dance one last time for judges' scores before it's all done tonight.
