Serial-killer Jack Toller, who cremated his victims, escaped from life in jail but was caught. Horatio and Tripp escort his plane back to Miami prison, but are overpowered by the pilot duo Toller hired to replace the official ones. Playing dead, he steals a woman's car and kills her, then has it driven as decoy by former cell-mate Randy North, a model ex-con who is desperately easy to blackmail with hid motherless kids' custody hearing coming up. Logistis logics puts the team on the trail of counterfeit dollars bills and the means to make them. Toller kills a fencing accomplice, ignoring he was watched by an undercover Secret Service officer. Did You Know?

Near the beginning, when the car plunges off the pier, a header comes up that says "6 hours earlier," while cutting to a shot of the plane carrying Horatio, Tripp and their fugitive. Near the end, as Horatio is struggling to stand up after being shot, his wristwatch clearly reads 10:23 (in the morning, judging by the fact that it's bright daylight outside). If this were true, then 6 hours earlier would be approximately 4:23am EST and the sun wouldn't have risen in Miami yet, so the jet should be landing in total darkness. See more »
