One of the few Internet reviewers and critics I can enjoy watching
23 September 2017 | by webberrulesSee all my reviews

Canadian film critic, Stefan Ellison, aka Mr. Coat, is one of the few Internet reviewers and critics I enjoy watching, as well as my favourite Internet reviewer. Why? Because he challenges the stereotypical Internet reviewer who rages and nitpicks on movies and television series, like The Nostalgia Critic, who is the epitome of an incredibly stereotypical Internet reviewer, which makes him insufferable. Howerver, just because Stefan Ellison is my favourite Internet reviewer does not mean I excuse him for everything he defends, like defending English-dubbed versions of Studio Ghibli films, for example. Despite that one criticism, he still makes interesting, reasonable and valid arguments on why he defends and slams certain movies and series, and that encouraged me to have opinions of movies and television series of my own. Another reason on why he influenced me to do so is that his presentation of reviews has an excellent balance of avoiding the stereotypical Internet reviewer and entertaining me with interesting and mostly reasonable and valid arguments. If you are like me, who is sick and tired of the insufferable Nostalgia Critic, I highly recommend watching Mr. Coat as an alternative. You will be grateful you did.
