I persist and sign, only Olivier Marchal could bring us such stories, because he writes and no directs. He was a cop himself, remember? He knows everything about cops, their inner life, sorrows, disasters, griefs, pain. Everything. Ok, that may be from time to time "too much", overplayed, but it's really taut, gripping, and so accurate. One of the characters, a female cop, is named Corey. I guess a tribute to Alain Delon's character in Jean-Pierre Melville's LE CERCLE ROUGE. Marchal is a great fan of Melville. I am so in a hurry to finish this tremendous series, but don't misunderstand me, because it is so exciting, not because it would be boring !!!!
