A Film Excellently Executed
21 February 2012 | by See all my reviews

I caught this film a few of times, most recently at a shorts festival and it captivates me entirely every time I watch it. "Reactionary" brings the viewer through the various complex emotions of soldiers at war. It explores not only their relationship to war itself, but those within, amongst each other, as humans - humans with morals, humans who err. This short film is a MUST SEE. Beautifully shot, the actors completely conquer their roles and do much justice to the very realistic storyline. The right amount of emotional intensity holds a vital presence, engulfing those into a thought provoking mist of revelation! Kudos! This director, Gary Hubb, will certainly go far with his future films! Cheers! Rock On!
