Enjoyable
25 September 2011 | by sandygfilmsSee all my reviews

I'm not a huge fan of the horror genre, but Quick Shop was fun, plain and simple. In the end I realized, it's a horror film in a similar way "Shaun of the Dead" is. Both keep you laughing from start to finish.

The twists were interesting, the pacing just right. The acting was often goofy, as it should be for this type of film. The story was tight. The look of the film was a bit grainy but it worked for the genre. If this film was made for $500 as it's stated it was, it definitely looks 10x better than that budget!

This is what independent film should be. "Quick Shop" is definitely worth seeing.
