Goofs
"Match SONAR bearings and Fire" is incorrect. The correct order is "Match bearings and Shoot"., then, when fire control has input the information the TDC operator says "Shoot" and only then does the Approach Officer (usually the Skipper) say "FIRE" and the torpedo is launched. The word "Fire" isn't used lightly on Submarines. See more »
